--Skamo--Wall Basic Smooth Plaster

 

SkamoWall Basic Smooth Plaster is used as a finishing touch on the SkamoWall Basic Board.

How to use

  • To ensure a perfect surface, it is important that the tools, mixing baskets and water are free of dust and foreign objects of any kind.

  • Remove dust from the surface of the SkamoWall Basic Board.

  • Apply SkamoWall Basic Primer on the surfaces of SkamoWall Basic Board where SkamoWall Basic Smooth Plaster is to be applied.

  • SkamoWall Basic Smooth Plaster is mix in the ratio 5.5 to 6.5L water per 15kg bag:
    • Pour 4L water into a mixing bucket.
    • With vigorous stirring, the whole SkamoWall Basic Smooth Plaster bag's content (15kg) is added.
    • The remaining 1.5 to 2.5L of water are added to the mixture until the desired consistency is achieved.
    • Mix the mixture vigorously for 3 to 5 minutes.
    • Let the mixture rest for 10 to 15 minutes and mix again until the mixture is completely softened and free of bubbles.
    • After mixing, SkamoWall Basic Smooth Plaster can be used for 3 to 4 hours. Extra water can be added, if necessary.

  • SkamoWall Basic Smooth Plaster is applied to the SkamoWall Basic Board with a tooth picked filling knife to achieve a uniform layer thickness (1.5 to 3mm). Then SkamoWall Basic Smooth Plaster is surfaced and smooth finished.

  • By the next day, the SkamoWall Basic Smooth Plaster has hardened and can be painted with a diffusion-open paint.

  • Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection.

  • If in eyes:
    • Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes
    • Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do
    • Continue rinsing.
    • Immediately call a poison center/doctor.

  • Dispose of contents/container in accordance with local regulation.

 

Contains a reducing agent which reduces soluble chromium VI. The reducing agent is active when stored in a dry place for 12 months after the stated packing date. When stored in moist conditions, e.g. on construction sites, the chromate neutralisation will wear off. Packing that has been opened should be closed tightly after use, and the product should be used as soon as possible.
