--Skamol-- Adhesive

 

Skamol Adhesive is a mortar used to glue SkamoWall Board.

Skamol Adhesive can also be used to straighten up the wall before mounting SkamoWall Board.

How to use

  • It is important to clean off the wall from wallpaper, paint, dust, dirt, etc. before mounting SkamoWall Board.

  • Remove dust from the surfaces of SkamoWall Board.

  • Skamol Adhesive is to be mixed 4.8 to 5.4L of pure water per 20kg bag:
    • Pour 3.5L of water into a mixing bucket.
    • Stir vigorously and add the entire content of the Skamol Adhesive bag (20kg).
    • The remaining 1.3 to 1.9L of water are added to the mixture until the desired consistency is achieved.
    • The mixture is vigorously mixed for 2 to 3 minutes.
    • Skamol Adhesive can be used for 1 to 1.5 hours after mixing. Extra water can be added if needed.

  • Skamol Adhesive is applied to the wall in a layer of maximum 15mm thickness with an 8 to 10mm tooth picked filling knife to achieve an even layer.

  • The SkamoWall Board is placed 5 to 10mm from the final position, the board is pushed in place to even out the Skamol Adhesive. It is important for the fully glue the SkamoWall Board.

  • Fill joints between SkamoWall Boards with Skamol Adhesive. The joints should be a maximum of 1 to 2mm.

  • Causes serious eye damage.

  • Causes skin irritation.

  • If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand.

  • Keep out of reach of children.

  • Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection.

  • If in eyes:
    • Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes.
    • Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do.
    • Continue rinsing.
    • Immediately call a poison center/doctor.

  • Dispose of contents/container in accordance with local regulation.

 

Contains a reducing agent which reduces soluble chromium VI. The reducing agent is active when stored in a dry place for 12 months after the stated packing date. When stored in moist conditions, e.g. on construction sites, the chromate neutralisation will wear off. Packing that has been opened should be closed tightly after use, and the product should be used as soon as possible.
